[A voice; young, female, hesitant but trying not to show it.]
It's like...a radio, right?
[Apparently, there's some affirmative, because there's a beat, and the girl begins to talk in earnest. The words nearly tumble over each other straining to get out.]
Um, excuse me, but I think there's been a mistake. I'm not supposed to be here. My name is Kiki, and I'm the resident witch in Koriko. I woke up here, and I'm sure it's an accident, because you see, I'm still in training, and so if I don't finish my training I can't-- [A breath. Trying not to show too much upset. Competency! Good first impressions! Those are important.]
So if someone can hear me, and if they could direct me back home, I'd be very grateful.
[There's a shaky breath again, wind whistling out of relieved lungs, before the feed is clumsily switched off.
For those wandering around town and along the first stretches of road, there's a little girl with a Misdreavus, pack shouldered and looking a bit dazed and confused.]

You mean witch training? But I don't have my powers.
( voice. )
Well, sort of, but, uhh, no, not for witches, I guess. It's a different kind of training that involves a Pokemon beast that you, most likely received.
( voice. )
Oh, well. I see. Um, thanks, I guess.
[God she doesn't mean to sound whiny, she's just upset at being kidnapped.]
I have to train this...ghost?
( voice. )
[ it's okay, he's used to people being disappointed at him. :| ]

I guess it's a start, though, right? [LET'S HOPEFUL!!!] How do I go about...'training' her?
( voice. )
[ brightens! ]
Training is a thing I can kind of answer better, as a question, sort of, since it's something I've kind of been doing. It's sort of the thing that everybody does here, really, but, I guess since I'm here I can possibly do an okay job of explaining it. The thing that you have to do is just, uh, pit your beast against other ones until it becomes stronger.
( voice. )
[internal shrieking]
You make them fight?!
That's horrible!
